Shirley and Henry Frye Statue

Henry Frye was the first African American Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court.  Shirley Frye served as Assistant Vice Chancellor for  Development and University Relations at NC A&T and was a leader at other institutions. Their many accomplishments are noted at the amazing statue.
